Tevatron results on W boson mass and width

New measurements of the Electroweak Standard Model parameters are emerging from the Tevatron Run II. The CDF collaboration has just presented the world's best, single-experiment, measurements of both the W boson mass, at (80413 +/- 48) MeV/c(2), and width at (2032 +/- 71) MeV/c(2). Significant improvements in the calibration of the CDF tracker and calorimeters coupled with an improved understanding of the production of W bosons has significantly reduced the systematic uncertainties of both measurements. I will discuss the prospects for improving these measurements over the remainder of Tevatron running.
