摘要
Introduction: Cancer disease modifies many dimensions of psychological development of the patient and also of the caregiver. Objective: Describe well-being scores and perception of social support of informal caregivers of cancer. Method: Research quantitative with a descriptive scope and non-experimental design. The study population was 40 informal caregivers from two foundations. The PERMA profiler Well-being and the Duke-UNK Social Support Questionnaire were used. Results: The most of caregivers presented a state of well-being with high values. They perceived their functional social support as adequate. The predominant values were for women, higher studies participants, late adults and cohabiting status persons. Conclusion: Informal caregivers perceived themselves like able to achieve goals, find the meaning of their actions and manage social relationships favorably.
