The role of continuing engineering education in the technological progress of industry in China

摘要：

One of the important factors influencing the rapid growth of Chinese economy is the adoption of new applicable and advanced technology: Difficulties were encountered at the beginning of adoption in industry because the competence of workfore could not match the need for mastering new technology. These problems have been solved in many enterprises by carrying out continuing engineering education. This paper desribes some examples and points out that a successful enterprise should take CEE as an important component of technological progress.
