Electromagnetic wave effects on electron-phonon scattering in semiconductor quantum wires

摘要
The dissipative electron transport in the free-standing semiconductor wire in the presence of electromagnetic wave is considered. The non-Markovian Langevin-like equations describing both kinetics and fluctuations of an electron are obtained. It is shown that in the 1D case electromagnetic wave influences on electron-phonon interaction drastically that increases the electron mobility. Phonon emission spectrum and energy loss rate are found. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
