摘要
In vitro activity and sensitivity to heavy metal ions of coelomocytes retrieved from adult individuals (maintained at 22 degreesC) of three earthworm species (Dendrobeana veneta, Lumbricus terrestris and Eisenia fetida) were compared. Cells of L. terrestris showed higher adhesion and pinocytic abilities but lower dehydrogenase activity than the other two species. Cells of all species showed similar ability of cytotoxicity towards mouse erythrocytes after 5h in vitro incubation, but cells of E. fetida were most efficient already after shorter time (2h). Coelomocyte viability and activity significantly decreased in the presence of Cd, Pb, Cu, but not of Zn ions in the applied doses (11, 22, 44 mg/l). L. terrestris cells were the most resistant while E. fetida the most sensitive to heavy metals.
