摘要：
On the basis of analysing the farmers' information needs in mountainous rural areas of China, this paper focuses on the specific performance and causes of the rural information poverty, and then analyses the effect of information poverty on the information right from three aspects, including the subject, content, and object of right. Finally, specific measures of eliminating information poverty and safeguarding the information rights of farmers are proposed in this paper. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
