摘要
Two dimensional numerical study of cylinder by using splitter plate in narrow channel is investigated for Reynolds number 5.21x10(4) <= Re <= 1.56 x 10(5). The Splitter has fixed length which is equal to 2D of diameter cylinder, with D = 25 mm. The splitter plate are using three different plate thicknesses, T/D = 0.016, 0.04, and 0.08, respectively. The channel height, H, is 125 mm. The effect of splitter plate on cylinder at certain T/D shows the information of mean pressure coefficient, pressure drag coefficient, fequency of vortex shedding, and instantanious velocity pathline. From numerical result, T/D 0.08 can reduce coefficient drag pressure force more optimal than the others. Meanwhile, higher Reynolds number produce small grade for strouhal number which the most lowest of Strouhal number is T/D 0.08.
