摘要
Electric Vehicle wireless charging systems (EV-WCS) are complex due to the extensive hardware components and control algorithms involved. The controllers in WCS need to perform precise calculations accompanied by rigorous signal processing for accurate decision making. Due to the computational expense and complexity, Maximal Power Transfer (MPT) in an EV-WCS is highly challenging. For this purpose, we propose a strategy that solely relies on a Data-Based Approach (DBA) to optimize the WCS power output and efficiency at a much lower computational expense. A recursive search algorithm with cubic interpolation is applied for optimization. The misalignment characteristics of a WCS having a circular coil design are analyzed. The results indicate that the proposed algorithm significantly improves the power output and efficiency of the system as compared to the uncontrolled case. This optimization method may be well suited for static wireless charging applications.
