A Socio-educational App for Digitally Transforming Online Learning

摘要
The paper explores the current online learning environment and the limitations of the Learning Management System (LMS). The paper identifies three requirements for a successful online learning environment and presents a digitally transforming socio-educational app that facilitates a cooperative learning experience. To transform the current learning environment into a socially cooperative learning environment emotional and practical persuasive techniques, persuasive technology principles and models, and gamification elements are utilised in a mobile based application. The paper outlines the key features of the proposed application.
