Multiperiodic and multisoliton solutions of a nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation for envelope waves

摘要：
The multiperiodic solutions are presented for a nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation describing the slow modulation of quasi-harmonic internal waves in fluids of great depth. They have a simple structure represented by elementary functions. The determinantal expressions of the solutions are also obtained and used to prove the nonsingular nature of the solutions. The multisoliton solutions are derived simply by taking the long-wave limit of the multiperiodic solutions. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
