摘要
The work presents the reasons for developing the sugar cane industry in the concept of biorefinery and the steps that must be carried out as concrete actions in specific studies to gradually convert sugar factories into biorefineries. A heuristic diagram is included for these studies and finally it is concluded that the proposal to transform sugar factories as biorefineries must be approached by specialists from different disciplines who work harmoniously towards a common objective, which will also allow obtaining methodological contributions to the procedure.
