摘要
The conditions to synthesize hydrophobic long-chain alkyl modified hydroxyethyl cellulose which is prepared with dodecane bromide and hydroxyethyl cellulose were studied in this paper. The optimum conditions were identified as follows: m(HEC): m(BD)=10:1, the concentration of NaOH as activator is 5%, the swelling time is 21h, the reaction time is 80 degrees C, and the reaction time is 10h. Finally the structure of the product was analyzed. The thickening properties and salt resistance were evaluated.
