摘要
The number of engineering graduates of undergraduate courses reached 965 thousand in 2012, accounting for about one third of undergraduate courses, the percentage of young engineers meeting multinational recruitment standards was 10 percent in China. These shows that it is necessary for Chinese higher education to transform from quantity-oriented type into quality-oriented type, innovative mode of talents cultivation is crucial to higher engineering education reform. The paper analyzes the realistic and practical basis of CCDIO, and the structural system of CCDIO. The concept of career education is introduced into CDIO the paper further study the microscopic modes of engineering education-CCDIO, namely Career, Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate. CCDIO is the organic integration of career education and CDIO, and is the student-oriented talents cultivation mode. The structural system of CCDIO includes the vision, the syllabus, the standard, competence system and cultivating system. These provides an important foundation of talents cultivation for CCDIO application to engineering education and other disciplines.
