摘要
In this paper, we propose a new parallel algorithm based on the elimination tree for the direct solution of large sparse matrix equations in power system. Different from the existing algorithms, it speeds up the solving process mainly by paralleling the forward and backward substitutions of the large sparse linear equations. Meanwhile, our algorithm is easy to parallelize, suitable for large-scale computer clusters and easy to understand.
