A method for recognising cylinder misfiring based on measuring the instantaneous speed of engine

摘要
Cylinder misfiring is a typical fault of diesel and impacts the power directly. This paper introduced a method for detecting cylinder misfire on armored vehicle in way of measuring the instantaneous speed of diesel. The speed signals were measured by a photoelectric sensor, which is fixed at the main clutch gear of the armored vehicle. The signals were analyzed in time and frequency domain, so some fault characteristics were got. In this paper the original speed signals were also transformed into "0-1" series, so the noise in signal could be reduced. The result shows that misfiring fault can be detected in way of analyzing the engine speed.
