摘要
This paper presents the Group Elicitation Method (GEM), a brainwriting technique augmented by a decision support system for constructing a shared memory. GEM has been successfully used in four industrial projects to elicit knowledge from experts. In particular, in three of them it was used to elicit end-users' knowledge for the design of new knowledge-based user interfaces. An example is developed in the aeronautical domain. This paper discusses the properties of such a method and the lessons learned. Finally, we discuss the leverage effect of CEM as a decision support tool and a computer-supported meeting environment.
