The removal of toluene from waste air by photo-Fenton reaction is an attractive process. Because of it have high elimination, especially the high toxicity species. Unfortunately, the kinetic data of toluene oxidation by photo-Fenton are not available in the literature. In this work, the kinetic parameters for photo-Fenton oxidation of toluene were investigated. Experimental results indicate that the kinetic model was -r(t) = kC(1.0)(0.72)C(H2O2)(0)(0.78,)C(Fe2+)(-0.02),(0)pH(-1.05), indicating that the reaction order were 0.72, 0.78,-0.02 and -1.05 with respect to toluene, H2O2, Fe2+ concentration and pH value, respectively. This model was found better than the model which contained only the toluene and H2O2 concentration. Nevertheless, both kinetics models could be a simple model for the determination of an initial value of the reaction kinetic in order to optimize the toluene removal system design.
