摘要：
In this paper a new treatment for the Homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is introduced. The new treatment is called the modified Homotopy perturbation method (MHPM) which modifies the results obtained from the known Homotopy perturbation method. The modified Homotopy perturbation method is applied for the analytic treatment of nonlinear initial value problems. The modified method accelerates the convergence of the series solution, and provides the exact power series solution. It solves the drawbacks in the standard Homotopy perturbation method.
