摘要
We provide an introduction to Bayesian methods in conservation biology, illustrating inferences, prediction and decision making issues. After presenting the basic framework with a recovery plan evaluation problem, we illustrate more complex issues related to forecasting trends of structured populations using matrix population models and, finally, describe relevant topics in spatial and logistic regression problems. Computational and other implementation difficulties are also discussed. (C) 2003 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
