Research on the Development Strategy of Energy in China

The importance of the energy to a country's economic and social development is self-evident, and it directly affects the national security, economic sustainable development and social stability. A longer period in the future, whether China's energy supply can meet the needs of the economic growth and social progress, whether we can have a sustainable energy development path with Chinese characteristics or not, largely depend on the formulation and implementation of the correct energy development strategy. Therefore, how to understand China's energy development strategy, what coping strategies to ensure our energy security are the major issues which are related to the achievement of building a moderately prosperous society and maintain healthy development. In this paper, from the actual situation of China's energy development and utilization, analyzed the main factors which restrict China's energy development and studied 2011-2020 energy strategy focus of china and put forward the basic ideas of China's energy development strategy and the specific countermeasures and suggestion from six aspects.
