摘要
The aim of this article is to analyse the use of war metaphors in the discourse between the European Union and Poland on the rule of law in Poland. The study is based on the methodology of discursive linguistic comparison developed by the Dusseldorf School and Lakoff and Johnson's theory of conceptual metaphor. The analysis confirms two positions in the approach to the dispute over relations between Poland and the European Union.
