A New Image Restoration Model Based on Logarithmic Image Processing and Total Variation

摘要
A new image restoration model is proposed, which is based on Logarithmic Image Processing (LIP) mathematic model, and combines with Total Variation(TV) method. The model proposed above compensates the disadvantage of classical restoration methods, and it is also consistent with some characteristics of human brightness perception, achieving image restoration. The simulation shows that our method, on the one hand, restore the result is superior to the classical methods and can keep the edge characteristic of the image nicely. On the other hand, the error which can influence the effect of restoration is also solved effectively. So it is an efficient method of image restoration.
