摘要
This paper is devoted to energy security of computer systems and in more general terms security energy supply as important infrastructure component. History of the Internet appearing and developing is similar to the modem tendency in transformation of energy sector. Some of the new tendencies in changing energy sector reflect the exhaustible nature of fossil fuels-the main source of modem power engineering. Other growing demand for changing present power engineering is ecological pressure. Renewable energy sources are practically ecologically clean and by their nature are distributed what can be considered as important factor for supporting distributed computer systems. Appearing problems of high centralized energy systems are connected with terror attacks, man-caused and natural catastrophes. It forces society to pay serious attention to distributed supply energy systems and particularly to renewable energy. Some new developments of photovoltaic systems are discussed.
