Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting of Chinese Listed Tourism Enterprises

CSR plays an important role to facilitate the sustainable development of the Chinese listed tourism enterprises. In this paper, the author reveals that among Chinese listed tourism enterprises, 20 travel companies are less of CSR reporting, while 8 hotels focus on four aspects relating to the environment, i.e. the workforce; the marketplace; the charity; and the supplier in their CSR reports. Meanwhile, 4 restaurant groups emphasize green food and sustainable development. Most of the Chinese listed tourism enterprises report their CSR performances by displaying their vision and mission, and launching annual CSR reports. However, most CSR reports are focusing only literature expression without sound data supports.
