摘要
The main objective of this study is to ascertain the degree of literacy and didactical training in media literacy of future educators at different stages of education in initial teacher training of Pre-School, Primary, Secondary level and Psychology in the Faculty of Education of the University of Cantabria, after receiving training in media literacy. In this study we support the premise that if we train educators in media literacy, these professionals will be able to develop a set of useful and necessary skills in our society, such as maintaining a critical attitude with the media, recognizing and valuing their reality and environment in which they live, being less vulnerable and easily influenced, better understanding the messages, techniques, tools, strategies, etc.. of the media, practicing a participative and responsible citizenship, and developing a responsible consumption.
