2DLDA based semi-supervised face recognition

摘要：
A feature extraction method combined with 2DPCA and 2DLDA for face recognition is introduced. A kernel-based semi-supervised fuzzy clustering algorithm that can directly be used for 2D matrix is proposed and its iterative solution is given. In the experiments, we compare the recognition rate of different dimension reduction methods and clustering methods. The result shows that the proposed semi-supervised algorithm can have a better recognition rate compared with FCM and nearest neighbor method, and 2DPCA and 2DLDA is effective in reducing the dimension of 2D face images.
