摘要：
The article covers the problems related to the municipal waste management. The analysis of time and monetary costs with regard to mixed municipal waste collection processes (based on Siauliai example) was carried out based on theoretical and experimental research material, MathWorks MATLAB 6.0 program, the data on waste management and economic situation in the city as well as technical-economic and statistic-experimental standards. This allowed evaluation of time input of loading, transportation, servicing and other operations related to mixed municipal waste collection process, identification of time range of waste loading operations and reasons for that, calculation of the cost of waste collection process and proposal of some alternatives to improve the mixed municipal waste collection process.
