摘要
The legacy of Kant's moral philosophy has given rise to various approaches to the problem of grounding ethics and philosophy of rights. Cesa's essays serve as a comprehensive testimony to that multiplicity. The volume includes seminal studies on the main authors of classical German philosophy, whose theories reveal both shared purposes and radical conflicts. This review reconstructs its contents by focusing on three main themes: Kant's moral philosophy and its critics as a response to the crisis of Leibniz's theodicy; Fichte's practical philosophy and its revival in Schelling's early philosophy; the concept of ethical life in Hegel's political philosophy and the evolution of its meaning in Schelling's philosophy.
