摘要
A trilinear model of hysteresis is presented. The steady-state response is analyzed for a one-degree-of-freedom trilinear hysteretic system subjected to a sinusoidal excitation using the method of slowly varying parameters. The results obtained show that the system exhibits unbounded amplitude responses when the amplitude of excitation is large enough and certain critical value is reached. The steady-state response of the system is always stable and single-valued, hence, the jump phenomenon of amplitude can not occur in this system.
