摘要
An efficient and green synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines by a one-pot three-component condensation of aromatic aldehydes, substituted acetophenones, and ammonium acetate without catalyst at 130 degrees C under solvent-free conditions is described. This method offers several advantages such as simple procedure, easy work-up, short reaction time, low cost, environmentally friendly conditions, and moderate to high yields.
