摘要
In 2000, debris flows happened in the Tai Mountain area, Shandong Province, China, and caused serious damages. There is few debris flows happened in Shandong province" so the related study is almost a blank. This paper analyzes the reason and character of the debris flows in Mountain Tai area, and took Xiajiang as a case study to carry out hazard assessment based on GIS. This paper took such indexes as terrain, geological structure, land use and human activity in summary, and formed the analysis model of hazard assessment of debris flows in Mountain Tai areas. And at last critical areas were identified on the basis of risk evaluation number. This research not only used the GIS tools perfectly and gave a reference to others' study.
