摘要
We show that there is an infinite local-density-of-states in the near-field of a hyperbolic metamaterial. This leads to channeling of spontaneous emission into resonance cones of metamaterial states opening the route to quantum-optics with metamaterials. (C) 2010 Optical Society of America
