摘要
It's still a big challenge to access a suitable natural derived film with superb flexibility and stable structure for oil/water separation. Herein, we described a facile method to prepare a natural flexible film derived from cajeput bark (CB). The film exhibits superhydrophobic and superoleophilic; the oil adsorption and oil/water separation results showed the film possesses a relative high adsorption capacity and extremely high flux (similar to 2700 L m (2) h (1)) for oil/water separation. Hence, the film, with low-cost, environmental friendly character, accessibility and superb flexibility, might be a promising candidate for the cleanup of oil spill and oil/water separation.
