摘要
Censorship marked Manuel Puig's literary career since its beginning in the mid 1960s until his death in 1990. Even though there was a "grace period", which would involve his first two novels, the rest of his work was always haunted by prohibition and silence. Puig himself played along with each of these threats moving to a new city, setting the pace of an endless exile. However, his voice could never be silenced and that which couldn't be said, was kept in his archive, waiting for a different political conjunction which would allow its visibility.
