A method for ship target detection based on image fusion

摘要
Based on the analysis of the characteristics of infrared ship target in the complex background, a multi-frame image fusion method using morphological diffierence pyramid or wavelet transform was proposed to get a more clear and reliable image. The experimental results show that both of the methods can overcome the noise interfere of the complex background in a certain extent, which enhance the capabilities of target detection and situation awareness, but there are still some differences in their work speed and performance.
