摘要
The analytical solution to the nonstationary diffusion equation in the momentum space for relativistic particles has been analyzed taking into account catastrophic escapes. Results of calculating the time variation in the fluxes of 0.5-10 MeV electrons has been presented for the cases of momentary and permanent sources of cold particles. Theoretical results are used to explain certain general properties of the prolonged (greater than or equal to3 days) dynamics of electrons in geostationary orbit at the stage of magnetic storm recovery.
