Assessing the Water Environmental Capacity of Pollution Consumption in Jiulong River Basin

摘要
Jiulong River has been polluted to varying degrees. The water environmental quality will decrease sharply when the quantity of pollutant and waste exceeds the consumption capacity. Thus, It is of great significance to evaluate the water environment consumption capacity. We put forward a consumption capacity assessment model and a new calculation unit so-called landscape watershed unit. The water environment pollution consumption capacity is calculated based on the landscape watershed unit and the administrative unit respectively. The results tend to polarize according to landscape watershed unit. The results reflect the water environment consumption potential well, which pointed out that the environment of most of the area in the Jiulong river is in a certain acceptance potential of Chemical oxygen demand (COD) and ammonia nitrogen, while in some important local urban areas, potential consumption capacity is close to saturated condition.
