Characterization of (Zr1-xCex)0.84Y0.16O2-δ ceramics (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.1) derived by a wet chemical route

摘要
The (ZR 1-xCe x) 0.84Y 0.16O 2 -δ ceramics (0≤x≤0.1) derived by a wet chemical route was characterized. The densities of the sintered pellets were measured by the Archimedes method in water bath. The ionic conductivity of the sintered pellets was measured in air using a two-probe impedance spectroscopy. It was observed that the grain-interior conductivity decreased consistently with increasing cerium content.
