摘要
The present paper is concerned with the thermal post-buckling behaviors of magneto-electro-elastic laminated beams. Timoshenko beam theory accompanying the von Karman geometric nonlinearity is considered to model the beams. Temperature and magneto-electric fields are obtained based on satisfying the interfacial continuity conditions and corresponding boundary conditions, and then introduced into the stress-strain constitutive relationships. Afterwards, three governing equations of motion are established with respect to the generalized kinematical variables according to Hamilton's principle, and solved by the generalized differential quadrature method and pseudo-arc length continuation technique. The numerical results aim at the studies on thermal post-buckling paths, post-buckling vibration characteristics and magneto-electric potential responses, the effects on which the lay-up modes, thermal load types and magneto-electric fields exert are discussed.
