摘要：
Based on extensive experience in professional development and supervision in forensic psychiatric treatment of sexual offenders the author identifies certain destructive tendencies on part of the professionals involved. Resulting from specific characteristics of clients but also from conflicts within professionals and from the social and institutional context a sadomasochistic dynamic evolves and confronts professionals with their own destructive tendencies. This requires ongoing reflection to prevent lasting damage. The current social climate intensifies the tension between clients, professionals and society
