摘要
This paper extends a mixed integer programming formulation for facility layout problem. We consider two common conflicting objectives in facility layout: minimizing departmental material handling cost and maximizing closeness rating. We also modify our formulation to involve simultaneously design layout and determine location of Input/Output (I/O) points simultaneously.
