Painful disorders of the locomotive system are frequently. Beside orthopedists and general practioners treatment of chronic pain treatment is carried out by special pain ambulances. Orthopedic therapy means manual therapy, physiotherapy, bandages, braces and local injections. For some time past distinctions of therapy were modified by controlled studies in the bounds of evidence based medicine, especially to influence chronic pain.
