The Research on Ecological Performance Measurement of Logistics Firms

The development of modern logistics industry provides great chances for logistics firms meanwhile environment problems come up. If these problems aren't taken seriously, logistics firms' development will be restricted because of the pressure of resource and society. To assure their sustainable development, the firms' ecological performance management should be emphasized. This article establishes the measure system of ecological performance of logistics firms and adopts ANP method (analytical network process) as the system algorithm model because it can solve the correlation of eco-performance indicators in the same layer. One famous logistics firm in Yantai has been chosen as case study. This kind of evaluation contributes to the healthy development of logistics firms with the balance between economic benefit and ecological benefit.
