摘要：
The role of government and private organizations in the scientific investigation of potential biological effects of microwave radiation from wireless communication devices was discussed. The telecommunication industry invests a small amount in investigating the harmful effects of cell phones. A research program which includes federal support for fundamental research projects will provide scientific database for understanding the health impact of microwave radiation. The private sector can enhance the federal investment to achieve the essential information needed to safeguard public health.
