Integrated software for an integrated management and planning of urban drainage and wastewater systems

The paper describes the integration steps of the computational cores of the simulation modelling systems used in urban drainage sector. A step-wise integration process is presented, starting at the simple integration on the I/O files level, and leading to the vision of a fully integrated computational system within a paralleled, multi-processor environment. An example of integrated catchment simulation with results is described and commented. The integration process is currently under the implementation, as apart of the TVP "Integrated Wastewater", an EU-sponsored project under the INNOVATION Programme.
