Single-phase Voltage Sag Detection Algorithm based on Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition and Two-points Method

摘要
To solve the error problem existing in voltage sag detection with harmonic interference that only used two-points method, this paper proposes a single-phase voltage sag detection algorithm based on the ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD) and the two-points method. At first, the EEMD is used to extract the voltage fundamental component, then, the two-points method is used to calculate the voltage sag depth and phase jump. The simulation results show that the EEMD method can effectively filter the harmonic interference component, and dealing with the extracted fundamental component by the two-points method can quickly and accurately detect the voltage sag.
