Exploring the links between IS evaluation and organizational learning

摘要
Many researchers have reported that IS evaluation has a Pole to play in organizational learning. However, it has been well documented that potential learning has not been achieved. In this paper, we present findings of the case studies which explore issues of organizational learning within the context of IS evaluation. Our findings suggest that while several reported problems persist, there is evidence to suggest that cultural changes occurring in some companies give rise to a degree of optimism that IS evaluation can lead to organizational learning. We propose a framework for learning drawn on themes presented in this paper.
