摘要：
This paper focuses on the application of Decision Support Systems (DSS) to top management level decision making for business development. It describes the experience of Chinese enterprises of Telecommunication service in the development of decision making and the related emergence of an information-based support organization for business operation, the Information & Decision Support Center. The paper offers a decision support system example. The paper also discusses the challenges visualized and lessons learned from the DSS example.
