Introgression and genetic diversity analysis of Indian cotton (Gossypium sp) cultivars by ISSR and RAPD markers

摘要
An experiment was conducted during the year 2004-05 at Nagpur, to study introgression and genetic diversity analysis of 12 Indian cotton (Gossypium sp) cultivars using ISSR and RAPD markers. The ISSR and RAPID primers generated 82.1 and 74% polymorphism respectively among the cotton genotype studied. Three RAPID primers amplified introgressed markers from G. hirsutum to G. arboreum while only one ISSR primer generated the introgressed marker. The dendrograms developed from ISSR and RAPID analysis showed separate clusters for G. hirsutum and G. arboreum genotypes. However introgressed cotton cultivars found place in the cluster of G. arboreum.
