Zonal flows driven by the turbulent energy flux and the turbulent toroidal Reynolds stress in a magnetic fusion torus

摘要
It is shown that zonal flows can be driven by the turbulent energy flux and the turbulent toroidal Reynolds stress in a tokamak plasma. The proposed theory may resolve the controversial issues on the Limit-Cycle-Oscillation dynamics raised by the recent tokamak L-H transition experiments. Published by AIP Publishing.
